Vaccines and $50 gift cards: A team from the Center for Pan Asian Community Services (cpacs) will be administering vaccines and giving out $50 gift cards to those who get vaccinated and fill out a short survey at the Santa Fe Mall in Duluth. *Every Wednesday*, 1:00-5:00pm. Food Distribution + Vaccination Event: Welcoming Atlanta will be providing vaccines, including Pfizer Pediatric Vaccines for children ages 5-11. Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson will be available for adults (1st, 2nd, & booster doses). Meal kits from HelloFresh, and community-requested food items are being provided. 3:00 pm at Sara J. Communities not Cages: National Day of Action. Community Remembrance Day for Atlanta Gold Spa Shooting & Online Art Collaboration. Advancing Justice Atlanta together with the Asian American Advocacy Fund are hosting a community remembrance event featuring poetry, art, and music, on March 12th. 1:00pm - 3:00pm EST. Author event with Palestinian American writer: The Alif Institute hosts a discussion with the Dr. Hani Khoury, author of Giving Up is Not an Option - a memoir about Dr. Khoury's journey from Palestine to the U.S. Sentenced to an electric wheelchair since he was 18, he writes about the challenges and joys of building a new life for himself in the U.S. 5:00-6:00pm, Location: The Alif Institute, 3288 Marjan Dr, Atlanta, GA 30340. BREAK THE SILENCE: Asian Justice Rally. Free Citizenship Clinic: Questions about how to apply for citizenship? Ask an immigration lawyer at this event hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice- Atlanta. Spa shootings Remembrance Event - Georgia Asian Pacific Bar Association (GAPABA) and GAPABA Law Foundation are hosting a remembrance event to mark the anniversary of the spa shootings. $15 to attend - proceeds will go towards the AAPI Crime Victims & Education Fund. 5:00 - 7:00pm, Location: Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, 201 17th St, NW, 18th Fl, Atlanta, 30363. Vaccination Drive and Gift Cards: Ventanillas de Salud, a health clinic run by the Latino Community Fund - GA in conjunction with the Mexican Consulate, is partnering with the Center for Pan Asian Community Services (cpacs), and Dekalb County, to host a vaccination drive. *Those getting vaccinated can receive up to $150 for receiving a dose. *Ventanillas is also providing free HIV testing on Fridays. 9:00am - 2:00pm, Location: Mexican Consulate, 1700 Chantilly Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30324

Tutors needed: The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Atlanta, is looking for after school tutors to support students at Clarkston high school students. Tutoring is from 3:30 – 5:30 pm over Zoom on Tuesdays and Thursdays and in-person at Clarkston High School on Wednesdays. More info here and contact VolunteerATL@rescue.org for to sign up.
